I must be getting old, since I don’t find today’s cartoons very amusing or entertaining. I’m a big Looney Toons fan, where the skits were short and full of gags. Now cartoons are like soaps with plots and stuff.
In the early 1990′s, a refreshing cartoon was on the air called Animaniacs. That was hilarious. My favorite was Wakko. I wonder what happened to them.
Red Hat releases the first issue of Red Hat Magazine.
While visiting Maryland for work, Liz & I took advantage of having family nearby. So we put the kids to bed, and had my parents watch them while we went to the movies for the first time in a long time. We had slim pickings though, so we settled on “After the Sunset” with Salma Hayek & Pierce Brosnan. It was a very good movie, better than we both thought it would be.
I’m perpetually applying new themes to my desktop. Here are some of the sites I visit on a daily basis
looking for icons, GTK2 themes, and Metacity themes:

The best part of the 2004 election is that George W. Bush can NOT run again EVER.
Also, the front runner for the 2008 Republican seems to be Rudy Giuliani.

Wikipedia is a great resource of information.
I’m saddened by the fact that the people of the United States would be willing to re-elect President Bush for another term. But I can take pride in that I was not part of that majority, I voted for John Kerry and John Edwards.
It will be interesting to see who the Democrats put up in 2008. I’m betting the following will give it a go for President: Hillary Clinton, Howard Dean, or Borack Obama.
My predictions for the next four years with President Bush at the helm are as follows:
1. We will be out of Iraq, but a new fundamentalist Islamic regime will take over
2. North Korea will have a strong Nuclear (or as Bush says it: New-cue-ler) program
3. Iran will be under tough sanctions and the threat of war will loom
4. The deficit will be at $1.2 trillion dollars
5. Osama bin Laden will still be making videos treatening the US
6. Abortion will continue to be legal, but more restrictions like parental notification for minors will occur.
